About the Event
The Papworth Mesothelioma social group is hosted by Mesothelioma UK Clinical Nurse Specialist, Kate Slaven. The group is an opportunity for patients, families and carers to meet, socialise, share ideas and talk freely with supportive people who find themselves in a similar situation.
Meetings vary with events such as cream teas, barbeques or visits to stately homes. We also enjoy presentations from health care professionals and other experts.
The meetings are held once a month on a Friday afternoon at: The Village Hall, High Street, Hemingford Abbots PE28 9AH (unless otherwise stated.) and are usually at 13:00 - 15:00.
There is also the opportunity for carers and friends to meet nursing staff between 15:00 - 16:00.
